Jeonju University-Hebei University and Business Agreement to Build Global Network

- Jeonju University-Hebei University Promote Practical and Specific Exchanges through Business Agreements in Four Areas –


Jeonju University (President Park Jin-bae) announced on the 28th that it has signed a business agreement with Hebei University in China to build a global network.


Jeonju University officials (President Park Jin-bae, Je Hye-geum, head of the International Exchange Center, and Jang Hyung-guk, head of the International Exchange Support Center) and Hebei University officials (Guo Zien, Presidential-level official and , Sing Hui Vin, Vice-Minister of the International Joint Chiefs of Staff) from China attended the event, which was designed to sign a bilateral agreement and discuss exchanges.


In the field of detailed agreements, it was decided to promote practical and specific international exchanges through △ Joint scientific research cooperation agreement △ Teacher and student exchange agreement △ Exchange student agreement △ Visual media agreement.


Under the agreement, the two universities agreed to cooperate in the field of science research teams, exchange student programs, mutual dispatch of teachers and students, and visual media. After the agreement, △ Campus tours (Star Center library, museum) △ Meetings with doctoral students from Hebei University △ Introduction of bilateral schools and discussion of international exchanges △ Dinner were held in order.


Jeonju University President Park Jin-bae said, "We will build a practical and specific global network of bilateral relations through this four-field agreement with Hebei University and provide support for students to grow into world-class talents."


In response, Guo Zien, presidential-level official of Hebei University, said, "We will strengthen mutual cooperation between Jeonju University and Hebei University so that similar majors can grow, and actively support each other not only in student exchanges but also in academic research."


Meanwhile, Hebei University in China was founded in 1921 and is one of the world's top 1% universities in five fields: chemistry, material science, engineering, clinical medicine, and plant and animal science. Currently, it operates 85 undergraduate majors, 80 master's majors, 17 doctoral majors, and 13 postdoctoral majors, with 28,000 undergraduate students and 11,000 master's and doctoral students attending.
