Jeonju University (President Park Jin-bae) announced on the morning of the 26th (Tuesday) that it held a sharing event for 100 international students for Chuseok under the sponsorship of Taejeon Group (CEO Oh Young-seok).

The event was sponsored by Taejeon Group to encourage and console international students who are celebrating their first holiday in Korea. Taejeon Group cooperates with Jeonju University every year to help international students who visit our region settle down early through social responsibility.

JA SENG ROI, (Korean Literature Department, Myanmar), said, "There are currently difficulties in communication with families and financial difficulties due to internal conflicts in the country, but we are trying to achieve our dreams. I sincerely thank you for your interest and support to encourage our international students ahead of the Chuseok holiday in Korea."

Choi Young-nam, vice president of Taejeon Group, who also held a sharing event, said, "I hope international students will have a rich and happy Chuseok like a big full moon. International students who visited our region will not be able to live in Korea, but please work hard with dreams and hopes."

Je Hye-geum, a professor at the Korea International Exchange Center, said, "I am truly grateful for giving warm hands to encourage international students who are feeling lonely during the Chuseok holiday. We will discover outstanding global talents and become a university that helps the community."
