JJ held a ceremony to deliver signboard of Paris and Frankfurt, which are global hub centers. Jeonju University announced on April 1 that it has decided to set up a "HATCH Global Base Center" to support family companies and students' global advancement to the Paris and Frankfurt branches of the World Federation Of Korean Trades Associations (World-OKTA) and has delivered signboards. The signboard delivery ceremony was held in the reception room of the university's main building with more than 20 officials, including Jeonju University President Park Jin-bae, LINC3.0 Project Group Leader Joo Song, World-OKTA Western Europe Vice Chairman Sohn Byung-kwon, Paris Branch Chairman Kim Young-gil, and Frankfurt Branch Chairman Lee Eun-joo. Jeonju University has been establishing the HATCH Global Base Center in cooperation with the World-OKTA branch as a bridgehead for global expansion to enter the European market for high-value-added local industries, centering on the LINC3.0 project group. Currently, the HATCH Global Base Center has been established in four cities: London in Western Europe, Warsaw in Eastern Europe, Istanbul in the Middle East, and Bishkek in Central Asia, along with the World-OKTA branch. This time, a new global base center was established in Paris and Frankfurt, the central cities of Western Europe, and it was expanded to a total of six. Joo Song, head of LINC3.0 Project Group, said, "Our university has been striving for global expansion of local industries and graduates since signing its first industry-academic cooperation agreement with the London branch in 2018." He also said, "We will try to help our region's eco-friendly well-being high-value foods and cultural products enter the European high-end market, and we will continue to expand our global base." |
