Jeonju University announced on the 30th that it held a joint forum for high school and university to establish a higher education cooperation system in Jeollabuk-do with teachers in charge of career at high schools in Jeollabuk-do.
At the forum, in-depth discussions were held on how to establish a reasonable university admission screening in line with changes in the Ministry of Education's lifelong education policy and derive a system to ease the burden on employees and social workers.
Ahn Seok-tae, a professor of technology management engineering at Jeonju University who attended the forum, said, "It is necessary to ensure that the value of work and learning at the same time is maintained well in the new admission process." He also said, "It is very necessary to establish a job-related curriculum so that students can develop their skills as managers."
In addition, Ryu Hyung-chul, a teacher at Jeonju Technical High School, asked, "In order for young employees to work and learn at the same time and complete the university course safely, universities and businesses will have to work closely together for incumbent students."
