E-Land-JJ University Industry Academic Cooperation Education, BESTar 18th Completion Ceremony

Jeonju University (President Lee Ho-in) has been carrying out the BESTar program jointly with E-Land (Chairman Park Sung-soo) for nine years, and held the 18th completion ceremony on June 17.


The BESTar program has been conducted in the form of lectures by E-Land executives and employees by opening a "Business Excellence Human Resources Development Course" (3 credits) with the aim of fostering talented people together in 2012.


Lecture topics ranged from the human resources desired by businesses to the meaning and principles of project performance and how to solve problems in the hotel, dining out and fashion industries. Specifically, it includes "How to be a talent that a company wants to hire," "Speedetail time management," "Drawing my roadmap," "Creating customer values & My Story," "Working as a project," "Coffee & Bakery," "To be a global talent," and "Business communication."


Special lectures include Woo Sang-bae, CEO of E-Land World Co., Ltd., E-Land Human Resources Director Kim Yong-chae, Lee Jae-wook, E-Land Fashion SCM team leader Lee Hyun-chul, Kensington World team leader Jeon Yoon-young, Kensington World F&B team leader, European BG Lario Han Sung-jin, and Lee Land Retail team leader Han Min-jung. In particular, Woo Sang-bae, CEO of INC World Co., Ltd., an alumnus of this school, told students about vivid business sites and legendary service management techniques. Through the Vista program, Yoo Soo-min, manager of the food and beverage team at Pyeongchang Kensington and Lee Jung-geun, head of Spao's local team, honestly shared their stories with juniors in the third and fourth grades who were worried about their careers.


The 18th BESTar students were two literature and information majors, six management majors, two logistics and trade majors, one police administration major, one administration major, four tourism management majors, two restaurant industries, and 14 hotel management majors. Of the 18th BESTar students, 30 completed the course. They divided into a total of 10 teams and visited the business site to listen to customers, propose solutions to problems, and establish strategies to increase sales.


On June 17 (Thursday), an excellent project presentation and completion ceremony was held, and the best team, "Resort Room Operation Systematization Strategy - Seogwipo Seorak Jeju Korea Condo VoC Analysis Base" (Park Sun-joo, Ji Yeon-woo, Hong Min-ji) and "New Balance" (Kim Se-hee, Ahn Jae-sun, Hwang Hye-rin). Kim Si-young, team leader of E-Land Park, who attended the completion ceremony, said, "It is a high-quality project that has been carried out in the same way as the actual E-Land from problem solving to solution." She also said "The content is excellent, but the attitude of the students is also great."


Park Sun-joo (Hotel Management Department, a third-year) the 18th BESTar graduate, said she applied for the class seriously, adding that she could listen to and learn various stories from E-Land executives and employees in various fields and tasks and fields.


BESTar is a program where students who are about to get a job can listen directly to employees of E-Land Group and prepare for career development and interviews, and about 100 students are getting a chance to get a job and work experience in E-Land.
