Jeonju Foreigner Immigration Office Delivers 3 Million wonin Scholarships

Jeonju University (President Park Jin-bae) announced that it received a scholarship of 3 million won from the Social Integration Jeonju Council of Jeonju Foreigner Immigration Office.

On the 31st, the Jeonju Foreigner Immigration Office (Director Lim Eun-jin) delivered a scholarship of 3 million won to Pan Bin tuan Aing (Vietnam), a Ph.D. in law, and Yang Yun-bi (China), a Ph.D. in culture and technology.

The Institute of International Exchange (Director Je Hye-geum) said that the scholarship was sponsored by Kang Jong-dae, chairman of the Social Integration Jeonju Council (Chief of the Social Affairs Division at Jeonju Jesus Hospital), Yang Choong-yong, director of Theseum Hospital, and Park Young-sam, director of Sayyou Surgery.

Students Pan Bin tuan Aing and Yang Yun-bi, who received scholarships on the day, said”I am always grateful to have various experiences while studying in Korea, but it is an honor to receive such a scholarship. I want to study harder and serve as a bridge between Korea and my home country. I will become a professor and an artificial intelligence expert.”

Kang Jong-dae, chairman of the Social Integration Jeonju Council, said“I am sponsoring international students to help them concentrate on their studies by reducing their financial burden.”

Meanwhile, the Social Integration Jeonju Council is donating scholarships every year to support the settlement conditions of international students at our university.
