JJ, The University Innovation Support Project Achieved the Nation's Highest Rating of "S"

Jeonju University (President Park Jin-bae) received the nation's highest S grade (Education Innovation Strategy 'S' and Self-performance Management 'A') as a result of the annual evaluation of the Ministry of Education's university innovation support project type I (General Financial Support).

This evaluation was conducted in the first year (2022) of 117 schools eligible for type I support (General Financial Support) for university innovation support projects. The existing evaluation indicators were greatly simplified to evaluate three areas: the university's educational innovation strategy, core educational performance (maintenance filling rate), and self-performance management.

In particular, Jeonju University has set "reorganization of academic structure and fostering regional specialized talents in line with local industry and social demand," "cultivating future creative talents through substantial major options," and "building an AI coaching-based student success ecosystem" as key innovation goals and received the highest S-grade evaluation in the educational innovation strategy area.

President Park Jin-bae of Jeonju University said, "We are innovating education in connection with our university's mid- to long-term development plan with the aim of becoming a university that leads student success and regional innovation growth. We will make continuous efforts to ensure that students-university-regions succeed and develop together."

Meanwhile, Jeonju University earned the best A grade for two consecutive years in 2020 and 2021 in the evaluation of the university innovation support project. It is also growing steadily, being selected as the only "advanced" and "wide-area" in Honam Jeju in the university's lifelong education system support project (LiFE) in 2023.
