JJ Conclusion of an Industry-Academic Cooperation Business Agreement Linked to the Department

- Efforts for the Development of Saemangeum Secondary Battery Specialized Complex and Regional Economic Growth

- Acceleration the development of human resources related to Department of the Future energy engineering, new materials chemical engineering, electrical and electronic engineering


Jeonju University (President Park Jin-bae) today (26th) signed a business agreement with Gaoncell Co., Ltd. to promote secondary battery professionals and exchange technologies in the reception room on the 4th floor of the university's main building.


This agreement is designed to strengthen the commercialization capabilities of secondary batteries and increase the practice and employment rate of JJ universities (department of the Future energy engineering, new materials chemical engineering, electrical and electronic engineering) by establishing an organic cooperation system with Gaoncell Co., Ltd.


The signing ceremony was held with 14 officials from both organizations, including CEO Yoon Kyung-yong of Gaoncell Co., Ltd. and President Park Jin-bae of Jeonju University.


The main contents of the agreement include ▲ mutual cooperation in fostering professionals related to secondary batteries ▲ fostering talents in secondary batteries and connecting employment and careers ▲ consultation in the secondary battery industry, technology transfer, and commercialization cooperation.


President Park Jin-bae of Jeonju University said, "Congratulations on attracting Saemangeum secondary battery specialized complex, and through this, our university students will be able to learn the skills and knowledge needed in the actual industrial field more systematically". He also added "Jeonju University aims to strengthen organic links with local communities and contribute to the development of the local economy through close cooperation with industries"..


Meanwhile, Jeonju University confirmed its university-level restructuring plan in May and has been accelerating the development of secondary battery-related talents by establishing the department of future energy engineering and new material chemical engineering since 2024. It will also work together for the economic growth of the region and the growth of the industrial ecosystem along with the development of the Saemangeum secondary battery specialized complex.
