JJ University Job Plus Center Completes '2023 Fintech Camp' in Yeouido

Jeonju University (President Park Jin-bae) announced that it held for three nights and four-day fintech camp from July 10 to 13 in Yeouido, Seoul.

It was promoted jointly with the regional leading university development project Jeonbuk Consortium. It was designed in accordance with the need for Jeonbuk-specific digital financial professionals training to develop the financial industry in Jeollabuk-do and create an innovative financial ecosystem for global asset management.

The fintech camp, which was held in Yeouido for three nights and four days, was attended by 28 young people from the region who hope to strengthen their capabilities in the financial and investment analysis services sector. Starting with a tour of the Korea Exchange, by understanding and applying the payment system to the fintech sector, a key infrastructure of the fourth industry, such as financial industry, job lectures, and financial data analysis using Python, opportunities have been set up to cultivate basic knowledge of fintech and to challenge the financial sector more actively

Professor Lee Sang-haeng, head of Jeonju University's Job Plus Center, said, "We will continue to take the lead in fostering financial industry resources in Jeonbuk through systematic design and operation of specialized programs using educational cooperation governance with the region."

In 2023, Jeonju University's base-type specialized program is providing education in the field of △ data analysis and utilization △ financial and investment analysis services △ convergence new industries, which are supplemented by 'strengthening digital capabilities' following the previous year. It will provide integrated follow-up management for young people's successful social advancement, such as work experience and employment linkage, for those who have completed the course.
