- Cooperation of JJ Student Volunteer Group, Learning Korean Culture of International Students-

Jeonju University (President Park Jin-bae) announced on the 20th (Sat) that it informed international students of Jeonju's taste and beauty through Jeonju Bibimbap experience, watching Gyeonggijeon Hall in hanbok, and taking photo zones in order to help them understand Korean culture.

This event was a process in which international students learned Korean culture in the classroom and visited Hanok Village to experience Jeonju's traditional culture, and it was conducted as an experiential education through the cooperation of Jeonju University Student Volunteer Group.

Lim Yoo-chup (China, Department of Counseling Psychology), who participated in this activity, said, " I was able to learn more about Korean culture by experiencing and working on what I learned in the classroom. I didn't have a chance to talk to Korean friends of my age, but through this activity, I had a time to get close "

Han Mi-yeon (Department of Social Welfare, Senior), a student of the student volunteer group who participated in the volunteer work, said, "I was sorry that I didn't have time to interact with international students during my university life, but I enjoyed communicating with international students and talking about each other's culture through this opportunity. It was a good experience to feel proud of Jeonju, which I thought was common to teach Korean traditional culture, with international students."
