JJ, A Tour of local companies for International Students to Support Employment

On the 10th, Jeonju University (President Park Jin-bae) conducted a corporate tour program for 25 foreign students to Daeseung Co., Ltd. (Chairman Lee Chul-geun), Daeseungjungmil Co., Ltd. (CEO Kim Jang-song), and Ilgang Co., Ltd. (CEO Jeong Se-min).

This event is a regional specialized visa pilot project by the Ministry of Justice to boost the vitality of the local economy and inflow of the living population. It was designed to enhance understanding of career design and job through company introduction and field trips by visiting companies where 10 foreign graduates were employed in February.

Choi Myung-rak, director of Daeseung Co., Ltd., said, "We plan to further expand recruitment as your seniors adapt well and respond well on the spot. We hope today's experience will help you decide your studies and career path. We will also provide support to global talent to achieve their dreams in our company."

"It was a valuable time to improve understanding of local companies and help determine the direction of employment through field trips. I hope there will be more opportunities like this so that many students can see and feel it." said NgoJongtin (Vietnam, Senior), who participated in this activity.

Meanwhile, Daeseung Group consists of Daeseung Co., Ltd., Daeseungjungmil Co., Ltd., and Ilgang Co., Ltd. and currently operates a total of five factories in Gimje Daedong Agricultural Industrial Complex, Seoheung Agricultural Industrial Complex, and Horizon Industrial Complex.
