JJ University, Hwang In-soo and Hong Seong-deok Took Office

On the 8th, Jeonju University held a vice president transfer ceremony and inauguration ceremony in the subcommittee room of the university's main building with faculty members attending.

Vice-president transfer ceremony and inauguration ceremony will be held to thank Kim Gap-ryong, Education president of the Ministry of Education and Ryu Doo-hyun, vice president of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for their responsible efforts over the past two years, while congratulating Hwang In-soo, the new Education President and Hong Sung-deok, Foreign Vice President.

Jeonju University implemented a "two-person vice president system" in 2020 to strengthen administrative expertise and accountability.

The president of the Ministry of Education has been in charge of the education sector, including the establishment of a systematic student education system, and the vice president of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has been in charge of external sectors such as linkage and cooperation with local governments and government projects.

Hwang In-soo, president of the Ministry of Education, said, "I feel burdened to take on heavy responsibility at a time when the crisis of local universities is deepening due to the concentration of the metropolitan area and the decrease in the school-age population, but I will do my best to lay the foundation for excellent educational innovation."

Hong Sung-deok, vice president of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, said, "We will do our best to ensure smooth communication and close cooperation between departments, and strengthen links with local governments, alumni, and local communities to help our universities grow and develop."

Meanwhile, Hwang In-soo, president of the Ministry of Education, and Hong Sung-deok, vice president of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, who began their terms on February 18, have held major university positions, including the head of planning, education innovation, museum, and student employment and have improved the capabilities of universities through student-centered administrative management and professionalism.
