About the Undergraduate Program

If you are passionate about creative arts and interested in the well-being of others, our department is the right place for you to develop into a creative arts psychotherapist. Our department began in 2007 and is the only single-degree program that offers bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral certifications in the nation. Our department provides music therapy, dance/movement therapy, and expressive arts therapy programs at the undergraduate level. All faculty members have extensive clinical and educational experiences worldwide and offer theoretical foundations in human development, therapy techniques, and artistic expression. We prepare you to succeed long after graduation.

About the Graduate Program

Whether you aspire to become a leader in a creative arts therapy discipline or want to further your career goals, our programs are designed to help you achieve success. Our master's and doctoral programs in Creative Arts Therapies aim to provide advanced clinicians and researchers with the latest information and knowledge in the field. Through our programs, students will investigate the philosophical and theoretical foundations of creative arts therapy and systematically explore and articulate the intersection of interdisciplinary bodies of knowledge. By interweaving artistic inquiry and expression with a focus on research, our master's and doctoral programs offer specialized training in music therapy, dance/movement therapy, and expressive arts therapy. By the end of our program, you will have the tools you need to excel in your field and make meaningful contributions to the world of creative arts therapy.
