Jeonju University, Use VR Interview System to Conduct Mock Interviews ‘to Develop a Sense for Real Interview’

Jeonju University (University president Hoin Lee) said that it conducted ‘VR interview training’ for young people in the province to prepare for blinds and AI systems in recruitment process for two days from the 13th.

‘VR interview training’ implements an environment similar to a real interview using virtual reality (VR) gears, so when a device is worn, questions and answers are carried out through the interviewer’s video.

The interview is conducted based on the applicant’s history entered before the interview begins, and more than 3,000 corporate/occupational practice questions. Moreover, based on the applicant’s answers, additional questions from the interviewer is provided. In particular, feedback is provided in real time such as eye contact, length of answers, and re-listening voice recordings, allowing applicants to strengthen their interview capabilities through self-learning.

A student who participates in VR interview said that “It was really interesting to be able to have a mock interview with a VR device, and it was time to overcome the tension of the interview and prepare for the tailing questions.”

Professor Kyunchul Park, a director of the University Job Center at Jeonju University, said that “The University Job Center offers practical education programs that can enhance the employment capacity of young people in line with hiring trend.
