The College of Humanities pursues education for humanity, creativity, communication skills, the global mind-set and cultural capacity. Through education, the college aims to grow future-oriented students who can lead the society in the 21st century. The global era is in dire need of outstanding global mind-sets, communication skills, a wide range of knowledge in local and global cultures, and a sense of balance, universal value, and solid identity. The information era requires the ability to sort out accurate information from a flood of knowledge and interpret, reconstruct, and express the information in a critical way. The cultural era demands literacy in classical and modern cultures, creative cultural production, and the ability to give objective cultural critiques. The College of Humanities continues to do its best to provide education to meet such demands of the society in the 21st century.

Department of Doxology is an academic discipline aimed at training dedicated Christian students with innate spirituality and faith in God into ministers. Through four years of communal training, students will learn to live awestruck in God’s ways. The program consists of intensive studies on doxological arts, training experts in the field of ministry, pastorship, missionary, worshipping, and worship leading, in this age of robust culture and arts.

Dept. of English Language and Culture
The Department of English Language and Culture does its best to educate its students with practical English, in this global age where English has become the essential and practical tool of communication. Based on this fact, the depart-ment aims to balance its teachings with in-depth studies of the language and literature. Moreover, in response to the re-cently growing need for TESOL and translation/interpretation, the department offers both basic and intensive courses of them for students to explore the field, which may help them in search for employment after graduation. The department’s ultimate objective is to contribute to the global community by educating and training students with practi-cal education of the language itself, and further explore the academic excellence of English, English literature, TESOL, and translation/interpretation.
