Jeonju University, Hold a Graduation Program in the Department of Food Service Industry with Local Residents

- Show the modern Korean food such as white kimchi salad, bibimbap roll, and injeolmi cookie for free -

The department of food service industry in Jeonju university (Dean, Kim Jiung) opened the graduation program with the theme of “put together ()” at JJ art hall in Art center at 10 am on May 24th (thurs).

This graduation program was proceeded with a theme of “put together ()” which means ‘adding’ humanities and technology in the fourth industrial revolution to the foodservice industry. It mainly focused on finding a new food culture for the development of the food service industry.

In particular, it invited local residents and held the free demonstration to check the food’s competitiveness in the real market by presenting modern Korean food such as  white kimchi salad, bibimbap roll, and injeolmi cookie to local residents.

A total of 54 students attended the graduation program and showed their skills in food service and cooking that they learned based on theory and practice for 4 years to be people in food service industry. It also held the academic exchange session and presented papers on the recent trends of food industry and the direction of international industries’ development.

Meanwhile, the graduation program in Jeonju university’s department of food service industry which was held on May 24th not only offered various food as well as various souvenirs. Every local resident was allowed to visit without any request.
