1. First, we have been involved in independent theoretical works on the electronic structure, ferroelectricity, spin-orbit coupling, and other physicochemical properties of 2D materials. As a result, we have recently made publications in J. Mater. Chem. A, J. Mater. Chem. C, and J. Phys. Chem. C as cover articles. Other works have been published in Chem. Mater., J. Chem. Theory Comput., and J. Phys. Chem. C, etc.
2. The second category is quite productive collaborations with active experimental groups in Korea and China for more than 10 years. The collaborative studies are focused on various energy applications of 2D materials: secondary batteries including lithium ion battery (LIB), perovskite solar cells, hydrogen evolution reaction (HER), and CO2 reduction reaction (CO2RR) by electrochemical/photochemical means. In the collaboration, we have been producing many publications in ACS Nano, Small, and J. Mater. Chem. A, etc, as the corresponding author.
