JJU Graduate School of Cultural Industries, Department of Convergence Design Donated everyone Development Fund

Jeonju University (President Park Jin-bae) Graduate School of Culture and Industry, Graduate School of Convergence Design, announced on the 5th that it donated 5 million won in development funds for the department and school.

The delivery ceremony of the development fund was held with eight officials, including Professor Lim Chul-min and Jeon Hye-kyung of the Department of Convergence Design, graduate student representative Cho Yoojung and Hong Youngshin, President Park Jin-bae, and Vice Foreign Minister Yoon Chan-young.

The development fund has been delivered with a combination of love for the department by accumulating prize money for competitions collected by graduate students and graduates, examination fees for professors' competitions, and external consultation fees.

Lim Chul-min, a professor of convergence design, said, "It is difficult for students to love their department with the power of one or two people. As a result of interest stemming from the idea that everyone is us, we believe that our small start from interest will contribute to the development of schools and communities."

President Park Jin-bae said, "It is beautiful to see professors, graduate students and graduates join forces for the department, and I will use the fund that the members who love the department and the school cherish, and I hope it will continue to be a more advanced department."

On the other hand, the Department of Convergence Design at Jeonju University Graduate School of Culture and Industry seeks a theoretical and practical approach to each craft field (metal, woodworking, textile paper, visual information), and traditional crafts for the transmission of traditional crafts.

It seeks to maximize craft value and re-create design through a convergence approach between traditional and modern crafts and a visual design approach to maximize craft value, and produces talented professionals who cultivate practical craft experts in theory and the field and embody the value of tradition and transmission.
