JJ-Harim Group, a launching ceremony for the 3rd gneration of Harim beSTAR

Selection of 16 3rd generation of Harim beSTAR members & Operation of the aptitude and duty-oriented curriculum starting with the launching ceremony


16 3rd generation of Harim beSTAR scholarship students, Harim Industrial and Academic Convergence majors and Harim beSTAR, jointly run by Jeonju University (President Lee Ho-in) and Harim Group (Chairman Kim Hong-guk), were selected.


Harim beSTAR is a process of selecting students for the third semester of Jeonju University as regular employment in consideration of Harim Group's manpower demand and job aptitude, and fostering talent to work and field by jointly operating curriculum suitable for their jobs.


Recruitment

The duties are IT information strategy, public service facilities, life resource management, production operation management, public relations broadcasting production, and sales, and are selected through five complicated recruitment processes including recommendation procedures and Harim Group selection procedures. Harim beSTAR selection is higher than the competition rate of 10:1 on average every year thanks to the benefit of guaranteeing regular employment of Harim Group.


Starting with the launching ceremony held at Jeonju University's Star Center on the 6th, the 3rd Harim beSTAR curriculum will be operated in earnest. The opening ceremony was held in compliance with social distancing, with officials from various organizations including Harim Group Chairman Kim Hong-guk, Harim Park Gil-yeon, Harim Group Executive Director Yoo Ki-ho, Choi In-kyung, Harim Executive Director Jeong Ho-seok, and Jeonju University President Lee Ho-in. The event was held in the order of oaths containing the resolutions of the 3rd generation of Harim beSTAR students and the scholarship certificates produced by the Harim Group's preliminary employee card.


"The school curriculum is most important to find students' aptitude and help them enter society and become superstars in each field," said Kim Hong-guk, chairman of Harim Group. He also said, "We will run various educational programs in connection with the university so that the 3rd generation of Harim beSTAR students selected can constantly challenge their aptitude and goals as prospective Harims and have the right personality."


The key keyword of Harim beSTAR is 'property'. In the recruitment process, talent is selected based on job aptitude, excluding majors and grades. It operates track courses specialized in students' aptitude and duties, not standardized courses, and has fully matched students' aptitude, corporate demand, and school curriculum through scholarship benefits, Harim Group corporate training, field training, and camps.


Jeonju University President Lee Ho-in said, "Jeonju University is developing superstars who are faithful to their work and exert good influence in each field." He also said, "We will foster people who are friendly to companies and can drive regional and social development through the aptitude-oriented human resources development process with Harim Group."


Meanwhile, Jeonju University and Harim Group signed an agreement on recruitment-linked aptitude-oriented human resources development in October 2018, and selected 22 Harim beSTAR 1st generation in 2019, 29 Harim beSTAR 2nd generation in 2020, and 16 Harim beSTAR 3rd generation in June in accordance with Harim Group's recruitment process. In addition, the 1st  generation of Harim beSTAR students are set to join Harim Holdings, Farmsco, Sunjin, NS Home Shopping, and Harim Industries in 2022 after completing the job-specific curriculum.
