Jeonju University (President Lee Ho-in) announced on the 24th that it won the University Library Evaluation Award at the 2020 University Library Evaluation Awards held at the Interbulgo Hotel in Daegu.

The evaluation was conducted on 382 university libraries nationwide. And JJ University Library was honored to receive the "Excellent Institution Award for Specialization Indicators" with the highest score of "Specialization Indicators" among Group A with more than 10,000 students.

JJ University Library established a digital information system to improve the convenience of users. It has also increased library usage by operating reading education and encouragement programs. In particular, users are constantly visiting the Fourth Industrial Revolution by establishing a creative space tailored to the needs and aptitudes of local youth and students and providing specialized services such as coding and safety education.

The biggest characteristic of JJ University Library is that it is a multi-space where you can enjoy both learning and relaxation. JJ University Library, which opened in 2011, experienced the Fourth Industrial Revolution and established a hatch lounge that operates VR and 3D printers. In addition, it has established sky garden, an outdoor space where classes, performances, and book concerts can be held, supporting students' rest and leisure, stimulating creativity and various thoughts.

Wang Seok-soon, the head of the library at JJ University, said, "The highest grade of specialized indicators among universities in Group A in the country is the result of the dedication and professionalism of our library staff." He also said, "We will continue to do our best to provide various information materials and quality services to library users."
