Jeonju University has selected the most number of industrial-academic coupling projects in Jeollabuk-do in 2021

6 out of 25 courses selected, total project cost 1,060,000,000


Jeonju University (President Lee Ho-in) announced that it was selected for a total of six courses in  2021 University Industry-Academic Coupling Project" supported by Jeollabuk-do and was selected as the largest project among universities in Jeollabuk-do."


Jeollabuk-do Industrial-Academic Coupling Project is a project in which universities, institutions, and companies establish a cooperative system to operate curricula according to corporate demand and train professionals tailored to the local industry through field training and internships.


Jeonju University will receive 1,060,000,000 won in total project cost in 2021 as △ Culture and Tourism Content Coupling, △ Living Lab-based Culture Contents Coupling, △ Smart Energy Coupling, △ Carbon Technology Convergence Coupling, and △ Smart City Coupling were selected in the humanities and society.


A total of 295 people from 16 departments are participating in the Jeonju University Coupling Project Group, and in connection with 350 companies, they are conducting social-customized practical education and field training. And more than 80% of graduates are employed by the company every year through the employment agreement program.


Lee Ho-in, president of Jeonju University, said, "We are training talented people who drive regional growth through industry-academic cooperation. Based on the know-how in fostering social-customized human resources and industry-academic cooperation, we will continue to co-exist with the local community and lead industry-academic cooperation."
