Jeonju University's electrical degree ceremony will be held live online on Feb 17th 2021.

Jeonju University (President Lee Ho-in) announced that it will hold an first degree ceremony for the 2020 school year in an online live broadcast that combines on- and off-line on the 17th to prevent the spread of Corona 19.


A total of 2,126 people, including 24 PhDs, 143 masters and 1,959 bachelor's degrees, will receive degrees at the 2020 academic year's first degree ceremony.


The JJ Art Hall, where the degree ceremony will be held, will be attended by not more than 50 winners of the Chairman's Award, the President's Award, the President's Award, the President's Award, and the representatives of each college and graduate school's academic crisis, and the live show will be broadcast live on the school's official YouTube channel.


In order to ease the disappointment of students who cannot attend, graduation photo shoots are distributed to each college. Each university will rent a diploma suit for a week, including the date of the degree ceremony, and also operate a photo zone for each college.


In order to comply with the quarantine rules, Jeonju University will conduct quarantine before and after the event, install thermal imaging cameras at the entrance of the building, and designate quarantine personnel to check the heat and health of the attendees and maintain proper distance between individuals.


Park Kyun-chul, head of Jeonju University's teaching department, said, "Unfortunately, we canceled all of the graduation ceremonies last year, but this year, we will hold the graduation ceremony live online to share the joy of awarding honorary degrees with graduates and to bless and support their future."
