Jeonju University Earns Grade A in Diagnostic Evaluation of Teacher Training Institutions

Jeonju University of Education received the best A grade in the competency diagnosis conducted by the Ministry of Education and the Korea Educational Development Institute. In 2021, 77 successful applicants were produced in the secondary teacher selection test. 


The competency diagnosis of teacher training institutions is an evaluation that has been conducted by the Ministry of Education to support systematic quality management and autonomous development of college of education. This period 5 evaluation was conducted on 45 schools nationwide in areas such as educational conditions, curriculum, establishment of a student guidance system, and the rate of securing full-time teachers.


Jeonju University won the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Education Award and reaffirmed that it is a nation's top-level teacher training institution, taking the "Best A Grade" selected only 11 schools nationwide in this evaluation. In particular, Jeonju University's College of Education earned high scores in the satisfaction of students' lectures, the establishment of a student guidance system, the operation of an educational practice system, and the employment rate of teachers.


Jeonju University produces about 70 successful applicants every year in the recruitment examination, and 77 students were produced this year. By department, 13 students from home education, 13 from special secondary education, 11 from math education, 9 from English education, 7 from Chinese language education, 3 from Korean language education, 2 from science education, 10 from literature information department, 3 from music, performing arts, machinery, and education graduate school. In particular, in the case of the department of home education, the total number of people recruited from Jeollabuk-do Province in the 2021 school year followed by the 2018 school year, and the department of special secondary education produced the chief of Jeollabuk-do province for three consecutive years.


Jeonju University of Education has been preparing for classes and in-depth interviews through in-depth special lectures, customized instructions for senior teachers, professors and professionals, and has various scholarships, teaching lectures, and preparatory teachers's academy.
