With the 50 percent cut in tuition fees, the burden on students and their parents has been reduced.

Jeonju University (President Lee Ho-in) has decided to cut admission fees for 2021 by 50% compared to the previous year and freeze tuition fees. It is a tuition reduction and freezing for consecutive 10 years.

Jeonju University announced that it decided to freeze tuition fees for the 2021 school year and cut entrance fees for freshmen by 50% from 228,000 won to 114,000 won through the tuition review committee on December 5th and 7th.

The tuition fee is 3,020,000 won per semester for humanities and 3,945,000 million won for science and engineering, which was confirmed in 2015. In the case of new students in 2021, the burden on students and parents also decreased slightly as the admission fee was reduced by 50 percent from last year.

Cho Dong-young, head of Jeonju University's planning department, said, "To share the economic difficulties and pain caused by Corona 19, we have lowered admission fees and froze tuition fees." He also said "We are creating an environment where students can concentrate on their studies without financial consideration through various programs, business orders, and fundraising."
