New Visa Extension Application Method for International Students

Hello Jeonju University International Students,

Starting this semester Spring 2026, the visa extension application process for international students will be conducted through a new online system.

Unlike before, students no longer need to visit the office in person. You can now submit your visa extension application and required documents online through the system hirevisa.

Please prepare:

• Cellphone
• Passport
• Valid Photo ID
• Alien Registration Card
• Confirmation of Residence/Lease Contract/Dormitory Document
• Debit Card 65,000KRW/ OR GS25 Cash Payment
• 
• Supplementary Documents Needed
• Certificate of Enrollment(printed in English)
• Transcripts(printed in English)
• Bank Statement 8,000,000 KRW (proof of finances waived for Myanmar Students)

3. Upload the required documents and submit your application online.

※ The Integrated Application Form that students previously completed when visiting the office is no longer required.

⚠️ Important Notice

Students who are in an extra semester (beyond their regular study period) may need assistance during the application process.

If this applies to you, please visit the International Affairs Office to receive guidance from the staff member in charge.
