Jeonju University fashion industry department startup club "e-clothing" held a green closet business activity report meeting with Connect Co., Ltd. at Jeonju University Creation Hall on the 5th.

Connect Co., Ltd. is an online and offline marketing agency social enterprise established in Jeonju in 2018, and recently launched Green Closet, a fashion curation-type used clothing sharing service based on object-type one-on-one analysis data, as a new business.

Jeonju University's fashion industry startup club "e-clothing" signed an agreement in May to support professionals needed for the green closet business and has been working on clothing management and package development for four months.

Park Ha-som, CEO of Connect Co., Ltd., said, "As a local company, I received great help through project collaboration with university club teams. When the business begins in earnest in the future, I want to hire 'e-clothing' students first."

Kim Seo-jung , a senior, a head of Jeonju University's fashion industry startup club, said, "It was good to be able to work with the company's team leaders on product management and development, which are difficult to experience at school."

Professor Park Hyun-jung, who teaches the start-up club 'e-clothing', said, "It was a good opportunity for students to participate in actual business tasks from product buying and product management to package development." She also said, "We hope that the club team's practical cooperation with local companies will continue to become a new employment and startup model that can settle in the community without leaving for employment after graduation."

Meanwhile, Jeonju University's fashion industry department holds a graduation fashion show every year that shows the fruits and efforts of four years of sweat, and has recently been linked to employment after Gucci Korea's industry-academic cooperation (MOU).
