JJ Organizes an Art Festival to Pray for Daily Recovery through Art

Jeonju University's Department of Art Psychotherapy will hold an art festival (concert & exhibition) at 2 p.m. on July 30 (Sat) at Super Star Hall on the 3rd floor of Jeonju University's Student Hall.

The title of the art festival is "Our Episode 5: Begin Again," which is said to have been arranged to restore our daily lives lost by COVID-19 through art and have time to become one.

To that end, not only harmony among department members, but also family, neighbors, and friends were invited to expand the venue of harmony. Furthermore, institutional managers, high school students, parents, and teachers in Jeonju, who signed an agreement with the Department of Art Psychotherapy as practice and intern institutions, will all be invited.

Professor So Hye-jin, head of the Department of Arts and Psychotherapy at Jeonju University, said, "I hope that all audiences who are tired of COVID-19 over the past two years will recover through music, art, and dance and support each other." She also thanked the students and all the professors for their hard work in practicing performances, preparing exhibitions, and directing the stage despite the vacation, and I hope it will be a new beginning for everyone."

In addition, Kim Se-eun, who manages the performance as a whole, said, "I hope the art festival will be a comma-like time for everyone, and I hope it will be a time for the audience to communicate within the art."

The art festival is open to everyone interested, and inquiries can be made through the administrative office of the Department of Art Psychotherapy at Jeonju University (063-220-2046 / jinn1214@jj.ac.kr).
