JJ to Train Data Professionals through GAIQ Accredited Expert Courses Using Big Data

Jeonju University announced that it has conducted a big data analysis expert course using Google Analytics from May 23 to June 30.

This education is a specialized project for Jeonbuk-type New Deal base, and 60 young people in the province who want to strengthen their digital capabilities through digital use and training professionals in new industries participated.

GAIQ (Google Analytics Individual Qualification) is an international accredited certificate created by Google, the world's No. 1 big data holder, and is a test that evaluates the basic concepts and knowledge of GA. Google Analytics, the world's most widely used representative web analysis tool, has been used to strengthen its ability to visualize and process data.

It was conducted in the form of online regular education so that young people in the province who want to strengthen their digital capabilities can participate and learn more easily. A local youth who participated in the training said, "We were able to analyze and manage data efficiently, and it was a beneficial time to apply what we learned to digital marketing."

Professor Lee Sang-haeng, head of Jeonju University's Job Plus Center, who organized the course, said, "We will take the lead in fostering professional manpower with digital capabilities of young people in the province through a systematic hub-type specialized program."

In 2022, Jeonju University's hub-type specialized program focuses on "strengthening digital capabilities" in accordance with the direction of the Jeonbuk Digital New Deal, and is carrying out the process of △Digital Common △Digital Finance △Digital convergence process. It will also provide integrated follow-up management for intensive employment support such as job counseling, mentoring, and job matching for those who complete the course.
