JJ Foreign Students, Sharing Happiness for Christmas

- A Ramen Sharing Event for Foreign Students with Warmth and Love

Jeonju University announced that it held a delivery ceremony for "Christmas Love Ramen" to foreign students on December 24, ahead of Christmas.

The event began with GL Bio Korea (CEO Kim Jinhwan) sponsoring 300 boxes of bag ramen to encourage international students to live in other countries. Ramen was delivered as a Christmas gift to international students in Korean language training courses with less than a year of stay in Korea.

Buye (Korean Training, China), a student who received the gift, said, "I came to Korea for my dream, but it is too hard and exhausting to continue studying abroad in a situation where there are many restrictions due to COVID-19 these days." She also said, "I am grateful to all teachers at Jeonju University for their warm interest and love in these difficulties."

Professor Kim Byungki, director of Jeonju University International Exchange, said, "I am so grateful to be able to encourage students who visit Korea with the support of the local community in a difficult situation due to COVID-19." He also said, "The Love Ramen Sharing Event will be a great gift of joy and gratitude to international students."

Jeonju University operates international student support programs such as after-school cultural academy, host family, international student scholarship sponsorship, and cooperative health management with local hospitals every year in cooperation with local communities.
