Jeonju University announced on the 5th that it held a blanket sharing event for foreign students under the supervision of the International Exchange Institute.

The event delivered winter blankets to about 30 people as part of the National Credit Union's "All World Sharing Campaign" to encourage international students in winter in Korea.

Song Tae-jin, chairman of the Jeonju University Credit Union, said, "I am very happy to have a place to share small love every year to international students who have established themselves as members of our society." He also said, "I encouraged international students in the hope that all international students would have a happy international life."

Son Hye-ryeong (Counseling Psychology Department), a Chinese international student, said, "I think I will be able to stay warmer this winter with the help of the school and the National Credit Union in a season when the weather is getting chilly these days." She also said, "Thank you for delivering your warm heart to our international students."

Meanwhile, Jeonju University is one of 30 universities nationwide with more than 1,000 foreign students, and despite the limitations of local universities, the number of students is increasing every year with steady support and interest for foreign students.
