Jeonju University Held “National Tourism focus City, Jeonju Tourism Marketing Forum”

Jeonju University Tourism Marketing Regional Cooperation Promotion Group, a regional tourism promotion organization in Jeonju City, held a "Tourism Marketing Forum" at the university's main building on the November 20th to discuss Jeonju's tourism marketing methodology, which was selected as a national tourism focus city.

Lee Woo-suk, director of the Institute for Playing and Eating, gave a presentation on the theme of "Where and How to Tell Our Jeonju's Attraction," and followed discussions of tourism experts.

The discussion was hosted by KBS announcer Ham Yoon-ho, and was attended by working-level tourism experts such as Choi Young-ki, a professor at Jeonju University, Kim Hak-joon, a professor at Kyung Hee Cyber University, Lim Seok, a representative of the Gangjin Tourism Foundation, and Kim Nam-kyu, a lawmaker of Jeonju City, and other participants in a panel discussion to promote tourism marketing in Jeonju.

Choi Young-ki, a professor who heads the regional tourism promotion organization in Jeonju siad, "Jeonju will be the flagship brand of 'K-Tourism' because it has all the elements that can represent Korea. We should also continue to work with the Jeonju Tourism Development Council, which is a resident of Jeonju and runs a tourism company".

In order to prevent the spread of Corona 19, the forum was broadcast online in real time with only presenters, debaters and some executives of the Jeonju Tourism Development Council, and can be viewed again on the DMO website (jjdom.co.kr).
