Jeonju University professors from Jeonju to Yeosu and Jeju by bicycle to meet new students.

Twenty-two people, including a professor at Jeonju University, alumni and businessmen, ran 300 kilometers between Jeonju, Yeosu and Jeju from October 12 to 15 and met 18 freshmen living in Yeosu and Jeju.

Last semester, Professor Lee Jin-ho of Jeonju University, Oh Hwang-je and Cho Kyung-seok of the Missionary Support Office, understood the regret of freshmen who could not experience school life and meet professors by Corona 19, and rode their own bicycles to meet new students and came back by traveling 44km from Jeonju to Gunsan and 260km from Jeonju to Busan.

At that time, many enrolled students, alumni, schools, and church officials watched their migration process, cheered them up and even sponsored scholarships. In particular, some professors, Lim Jae-kwon, alumni (Department of Business Administration Class of 85 / Head of Kookmin Bank Pyeonghwadong Branch), and Na Chun-kyun, CEO of Plus Construction, wanted to meet the students in person.

In the second semester, people with that meaning gathered together and rode bicycles to Jeju Island to meet their students and juniors in person. They traveled by bicycle from Jeonju to Yeosu, by ship from Yeosu to Jeju Island, by bicycle to Jeju Island, along the Halla Mountain crossroad and coastal road, and met students who had not met by Corona19, asking how they were doing and communicating.

Na Chun-kyun, CEO of Plus Construction, said, "I traveled 11 hours by bicycle to meet the student, and the meeting was so precious.” He also said. "I am happy to join the development of Jeonju University through this campaign, and I hope that Jeonju University students will be reborn as Korean superstars beyond Jeonju University superstars."

Jeong Ye-eun, a student of the Department of Korean Food and Cooking, said, "I can't believe that professors and alumni came to see me in person, and I felt like a hidden camera." She also said. "It was really nice to meet the professors in person and it's fun and affectionate to get to know the school little by little in such a difficult situation."
