Jeonju University Korean Food Cooking Department, ‘Cheer up! Superstar’s for 18 years Junior Love Donation Relay

Senior of Jeonju University's Department of Korean Food Cooking donated six blenders and 1 million won for their juniors.

Jeonju University's Korean Food Cooking Department has continued its tradition of donating seniors who have completed their graduation exhibition for 18 years for their juniors. This year, 55 fourth-grade students finished their graduation exhibition, donating six blenders and 1 million won in development funds with their love for junior.

The donation relay in the Department of Korean Food Cooking has been loved by senior students for their departments and juniors, freely designating donation methods and sizes. Donations have been used to improve student convenience, including the purchase of changing room air purifiers and sofas, and the installation of terrace screens and wooden chairs and water purifiers.

The Seniors of the Department of Korean Food Cooking said, "I hope this year's Corona 19 will be of special help to younger students who are suffering from the Corona 19." They expressed their intention to participate in 'Cheer up! Superstar'.

The donation will be used to improve the practical environment and convenience and quarantine facilities to overcome Corona 19 according to the wishes of seniors in the Department of Korean Food Cooking.

Meanwhile, Jeonju University's Department of Korean Food Cooking was established in Jeonju, the city of UNESCO's food creation and home to Korean food in 2000. In 2010, it was designated as a specialized college for Korean cuisine by the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs to serve as a hub for Korean food education, preserve, inherit, and develop Korean food culture, and further foster global talent to play a leading role in the globalization of Korean food.
