The International Exchange Institute Has Selected Three International Students to Provide 2020 GKS Outstanding Scholarship

The Institute for International Exchange announced that it has selected three international students to provide ‘2020 GKS outstanding scholarship.’

‘GKS (Global Korea Scholarship) outstanding scholarship for international students’ found talented students in Korea who have academic achievement, the test of proficiency in Korean (TOPIK), and clear motivation for their studies among international students in Korea and provide 500,000 won per month in scholarships totaling 5 million won for 10 months.

Chan Taibao, a Vietnamese student selected as a scholarship student (Business major, Class of 2021), expressed his thought, “Through the scholarship program, I can spend less time on working part-time and more time on studying. I will take a further step in achieving my dream.”

Meanwhile, Jeonju University was selected as a certified university for internationalization of education in 2020 for six consecutive years in recognition of its systematic management of international students and has been recognized for its public confidence as international educational institution.
