Jeonju University, for Corona19 Pain-Sharing ‘Participate in Kind Rent’

Jeonju University (Chancellor Hoin Lee) said it will cut the rent fees for two months for the financially troubled university’s stores in the aftermath of the Corona19.
Jeonju University prepared a plan to adjust rent fees at the university level to help reduce sales of stores due to the spread of Corona19.
For a total of 18 businesses in profit stores that are located on campus, a 20 percent reduction in rent will be made for the next two months from March.
Jeonju University office said that “We decided to lower rent, which is the most onerous fixed-cost item, in order to provide practical help to the stores on the campus. To overcome Corona19, we will work with the community on preemptive rent reduction, infection prevention activities, and support for vulnerable people.”
Meanwhile, to prevent the spread of Corona19, Jeonju University not only temporarily closed libraries and museums, which are multi-use facilities, and took preventive measures, but also has been conducting various activities to prevent infectious diseases such as installing hand sanitizers, thermometers, and thermal imaging camera.
