‘Let’s get funding with the idea and the story!’ ...Successfully Finish Jeonju University Startup Camp

Jeonju University LINC+ enterprise organization Startup Education Center hosted the “2019 Play&Idea-Thon” startup camp with Jeonbuk National University at the S1 Human Resources Development Institute in Cheonan for two days from September 27.
This camp was specially designed for the basic education of crowdfunding and the training of real startup through online mock-funding experience, and took a time to refine and present the promotional page created by applying a story into student’s ideas through individual mentoring.
A method that has recently become a major issue in a society, the crowdfunding is an activity in which prospective young startups raise funds from an unspecified number of the public through online platforms.
Younghoon Kim (business management major), who participated in the camp, said that “I learned a new way through this camp,” and he continued to say that “I got more confidence through practices of startup and marketing that I had felt difficult at first”
The head of LINC+ enterprise organization, Song Ju said that “I hope this camp could be an opportunity for prospective young startups to realize their items through crowdfunding. We will continue to support our students through follow-up programs that enable them to enter society armed with entrepreneurship mind by continuously providing them with startup education programs tailored to their interests and abilities.”
