Jeonju University LINC+ Enterprise organization, Lead the Future of Saemangeum Renewable Energy

- Held 2019 the future of Saemangeum renewable energy seminar, presented a blueprint for future energy development -

On the last 11th, Jeonju University (the president, Hoin Lee) held a seminar with a topic「The Future of Saemangeum Renewable Energy 2019」as a part of the revitalization of LINC+ Industrial Collaboration Center at the recital hall of the art center.
The seminar was held to discuss the development of Saemangeum renewable energy industry in North Jeolla province, finding ways to commercialize R&D products in the renewable energy sector, and establishing a large-scale comprehensive demonstration complex to secure Track Record for developed products. About 100 people, including officials from the innovation agencies in the province and members of the North Jeolla small and venture business leaders forum, attended the seminar.
At the seminar, Gisung Bang, the head of Korea Energy Technology Evaluation Institute’s Saemangeum Promotion Group, gave a special lecture with the topic of “Ways to build a comprehensive national verification complex for renewable energy in Saemangeum”, while Jangmuk Won, the director of Hanyang University, gave a special lecture on “Ways to construct a Power-to-Gas strategies for renewable energy”. After the special lectures, the panel discussion with experts also took a place to set the direction for universities to move forward with the revitalization of renewable energy in Saemangeum.
The head of LINC+ enterprise organization, the professor Song Ju said that “Through this seminar, we presented a blueprint of Saemangeum Renewable Energy Demonstration Complex for the development of future energy resources, and provided an opportunity for universities to promote human resources development and vitalize technology development.”
Meanwhile, Jeonju University LINC+ enterprise organization supports various industrial collaboration center activities by sector, and is looking for ways to revitalize future businesses and coexist universities and regions based on the seminar.
