Korean Language Education Center in Jeonju University, Held 1st Semester Ceremony for Students Learning Korean.

The Institute of International Exchange’s Korean Language Education Center in Jeonju University held a completion ceremony for the first semester of the 2019 academic year with about 500 Korean Language students at Hope Hall on 10th.

The completion ceremony was also accompanied by a presentation of academic honors. The students showed off their well-trained Korean skills and hidden talents by presenting various performances.

Uyenkongbang (Level 4), who host the completion ceremony, said “During the preparation of the completion ceremony and the presentation of the scholarship, I studied a lot with the kind help of Korean teachers, and it was a special experience to make unforgettable memories of studying abroad.”

Thirteen teams made to the final after the preliminary rounds, and the best prize went to the play “Chunhyangjeon” team.

Ji-young Song, a professor at the Korean Language Education Center, said “While preparing for the presentation, students of various nationalities could speak Korean together and improve their Korean language skills on step further, and on the day of the presentation, all students gathered together to share mutual cooperation and exchanges.”

Korean Language Education Center in Jeonju University is offering and operating a regular Korean language courses to help foreigners who are interested in Korean culture or want to learn Korean, and the second semester of 2019 will open on May 27.
