Jeonju University LINC+ Enterprise Organization, Opening of Infrastructure HATCH Lounge for Training Experience of the Fourth Industrial Revolution

On September 4, Jeonju University (President Hoin Lee) opened the HATCH Lounge which is a space for cultivating creative talents capable of coping with the era of the fourth industrial revolution.

Last year, The HATCH Lounge was established in the library as an open 4IR education experience infrastructure for the spread of industry-academic cooperation, and this time, it was constructed in addition to the cultural convergence University in order to extend industrial-academic cooperation to the humanities and social arts.

The HATCH Lounge, the cultural convergence University on the first floor of Jeonju University Art Hall, introduced a new concept as an induction space for creative thinking through experiment, interest, and healing. In order to prepare for the fourth industrial revolution, it plans to utilize it as a space where students can study autonomously while developing their creativity.

The director of LINC+ enterprise organization at Jeonju University, Song Ju said “We will do our best to build a sustainable cooperation system between the industry and the university and to cultivate creative convergence talents through HATCH which is the industry-academic innovation brand of the university.”

Jeonju University is promoting two modules of social customized curriculum that are promoted as a part of LINC+ enterprise and a project for the university that leads the innovation of the fourth industrial revolution
