Jeonbuk Small and Medium Venture Leaders Forum Academy Held the First Entrance Ceremony for the Management Course for Exclusives

- Contributed to fostering leaders in the fourth industrial revolution era -

The first opening ceremony of the management course for exclusives in the Jeonbuk Small and Medium Venture Leaders Forum Academy co-organized by Jeonju University LINC+ (Leader Ju Song) and Korea Venture Business Association in Jeonbuk region (President In-ho Lee) was held at the recital hall in Jeonju University.

Last April, Jeonju University was selected as the fourth industrial revolution innovation leading university in Jeolla province and agreed with Korea Venture Business Association in Jeonbuk region to foster and support small and medium-sized venture companies that will lead the fourth industrial revolution era.

Therefore, on June 26, Jeonju University LINC+ launched the Jeonbuk Small and Medium Venture Leaders Forum with Korea Venture Business Association in Jeonbuk region and carried forward the management course for exclusives as a part of the academic course.

As the first students in the management course for exclusives in Jeonbuk Small and Medium Venture Leaders Forum Academy, a total of 44 people, including 31 representatives from small and medium-sized venture companies and 13 institution representatives, were enrolled. On Tuesdays for the next 15 weeks, they will receive various educational programs, including lectures on elementary education, taught by the special lecturer, on creative business education, and digital marketing education, to lead the fourth industrial revolution era. In particular, on October 26, representatives from Korean traders from 22 European countries will be invited to the academy for providing practical opportunities for Korean companies to explore Europe.

This management course for exclusives in the Jeonbuk Small and Medium Venture Leaders Forum Academy will increase the communication between small and medium-sized venture enterprises in the provinces and related organizations, and also provide specialized research and education for a practical capacity building. Therefore, it is anticipated to become a venue for fostering popular small and medium-sized venture enterprises that will lead the development of Jeolla province and establishing the network of industry-government-education in Jeolla province.

Sangjik Lee, the chief director of Small and Medium Business Corporation, promised active supports and said “The new form of Jeonbuk Small and Medium Venture Leaders Forum Academy which is co-organized by Jeonju University LINC+ and Korea Venture Business Association in Jeonbuk region will be an opportunity to change and develop the culture of small and medium-sized venture companies in Korea, not limited in Jeolla province.”

The president of Jeonju University, Hoin Lee said “All leaders of Jeolla province should prepare for the upcoming future as the phrase ‘Leader should live for the region’,” and continued to say “We will do our best to make small and medium-sized venture business and local industry can grow and develop together.”
