Jeonju University - Jeonju Film Commission, made Industrial-Academic Agreement for the Development of the Video Industry

Jeonju university K-History 2H core personnel center and Jeonju Film Commission, which is led by Mayor Seung soo Kim, worked together for the development of movie filming industry and the growth of local universities.

Jeonju university K-History 2H core personnel center announced on June 28 that it signed an industrial-academic agreement with Jeonju Film Commission to effectively carry out industrial-academic cooperation activities.

For three years starting this year, they will work together for a project to characterize local universities through interchange, collaborated study about a connection between industries and education, research & development cooperative technical consulting, and placement and internship programs for in-service trainings for students.

Bae won Seo, the head of Jeonju cultural policy, said that “I hope that this agreement can give students in Jeonju university more opportunities to interact with Jeonju Film Council. Through closer business collaboration with business groups, we will seek to revitalize the local economy like youth internship and supports for employment.”

Jeonju university K-History 2H core personnel center, as field characterization business in Korean culture, aims to foster experts, who can contribute to the revitalization of regional history research, and cultural heritage resources for local industries.
