The students in the department of hotel management in Jeonju university are already internationally recognized.”

The hotel management department in Jeonju university received a love call from foreign hotels. In 2016~2017, the personnel manager in Singapore Hyatt and the board member of the personnel department in Grand Park hotel directly visited the university and recruit students. JW Marriot hotel in Vietnam held a video interview to select five F/O and F&B on May 17th in this year.

The Amira Hotel in Singapore and Park Hotel group also hired 2 and 10 students, respectively.

The reason why Jeonju university’s department of hotel management is receiving global attention is due to customized education centered on the field experience. It is popular among foreign hotels, since professors with extensive experience at hotels focus on practical training and 80 percent of the classes are taught in English. The students also develop practical skills through field experience at hotels from May to June every year.
