LINC+ Enterprise Organization, Has Established, HATCH, Education Innovation Platform, that leads  to the Fourth Industrial Revolution

- founded the education innovation platform that will lead to the fourth industrial revolution -

LINC+ enterprise organization in our school, supported by the Ministry of Education and Korea Research Foundation, launched a new educational area, the Education Innovation Platform (called HATCH) to grow talents with their own originality leading the fourth industrial revolution on 28th.

 The Education Innovation Platform in our school, ‘HATCH,’ as it literally means, has a meaning that students are freed from their traditional eggs and go further to become innovational high-tech experts needed in the fourth industrial revolution.

 At this site, they could conduct virtual firefighting drills and produce VR game using drones and VR by designing the product with a 3D printer. It will also be used as a place for collective intelligence, where professors, students, and entrepreneurs interested in the Internet of Things (IoT) and the artificial intelligence (AI) gather to share ideas.

The principal of Jeonju university, Hoin Lee said that “The launch of HATCH means a firm commitment to lead the era of the fourth industrial revolution in the Jeonju university.”

HATCH is the creative educational space comprising all capabilities accumulated through years of industry-academic partnerships. Especially, it is composed of One-Stop Creative Complex which encompasses both the engineering and library and allows students to focus on learning and research. The new programs like the smart poultry school and the small and medium-sized venture academy will also be launched to provide a focused investment to nurture the leaders of the fourth industrial revolution.

 Along with HATCH, Jeonju university’s own education brand is Superstar College, a college of fused majors. For systematic operation of fused major education, private lecture halls and seminar rooms had been set up in Jayu building, and private lecture halls will be ‘the place for fused education’ that achieves practical education including industry-friendly corporation, creative fusion, and a problem-solving process through flexible academic systems like multi-semester system and concentrated semester system.

The head of LINC+ (Professor Ju Song) said that “Starting with the launch of HATCH, HATCH Station for leading the fourth industrial revolution through tech-focused education, we are planning to expand revolutionary educational programs and place for creative education like HATCH Lounge for the expansion within the university, and Superstar College operating various fusion education.”
