      On 7th  of October   Jeonju  University  (president  Lee Ho-in) opened a mentor- mentee program hand in hand  with  Korea poetry reciting association leader (CEO  Lee Hwa-  gyeong) .  This is the second time following last year ceremony.  Poetry members and international students make a mentor –mentee composed of 20 teams and this  teams will continue for two month duration teaching and learning Korean poetry that will be an emotional & educational exchange. In addition on November 26  Jeonju University  will host "2016 International Students poetry recitation competition “ at star center  Onnuri Hall. In this year program  Jeonju university broaden the understanding of Korean  sentiment and culture through poetry in addition to enhancing the satisfaction of  foreign students. Meanwhile it was noted that foreigner students have been received a one sided Korean language education that only focused on reading, listing and writing.

This year program leader Jeonju university international  affairs director  Ko-Seonu  said “having a  Mentor-mentee alliance will make Jeonju  city a great place to study abroad  &  for sure can be a catalyst in promoting Korean literature for foreigner students.” And “We will continue to construct an effective model for mutual development of universities and  cooperative community.”
