호텔경영학과 와인파티

 

지난 12월 4일, 전주대학교 호텔경영학과에서는 와인 파티를 진행하였습니다. 이는 2학년 전공 ‘주류학’ 수업의 일부로 연말에 재학생들이 모여 진행하는 행사입니다. 주류학 수업을 듣는 재학생들이 주도하여 자체적으로 기획하고, 와인과 다양한 간식을 준비했습니다. 또한 주류학 수업을 듣는 학생들뿐만 아니라 희망하는 모든 재학생과 교수님들도 참가하여 즐길 수 있는 연말 행사입니다.

 

이번 와인 파티는 ‘디즈니’라는 테마를 가지고 진행하였습니다. 주류학 수업의 조별로 특색있는 분장과 소품을 가지고 지역혁신관 105호에 모였습니다. ‘디즈니 공주들’, ‘주토피아’, ‘토이스토리’ 등 다양한 컨셉으로 더욱 화기애애한 분위기를 연출하였습니다.

 

주류학 수업은 와인, 칵테일, 맥주 등 다양한 술의 종류에 대해서 이해하고 배우는 수업입니다. 매 수업시간마다 이론과 실습을 반복하고 때론 맛을 보며 테이스팅 종이에 기록을 남깁니다. 재학생들의 열정적이고 적극적인 참여 덕분에 주류학 수업과 와인파티는 성공적으로 마무리 되었습니다.

 

주류학 수업을 담당하셨던 Jeff Buenviaje 교수님께서는 “I want to take the time to look back on a truly awesome class that I had the pleasure of meeting during my time teaching with Jeonju University. I have been teaching to university students in the Philippines for the past 18 years, and this is my first time teaching in Korea. I am glad that one of the classes that I had, which is the Beverage and Alcohol Management Class, has surpassed my expectations. Students showed interest in listening and understanding the lessons, demonstrated respect and discipline, and exhibited enthusiasm to the professions they wish to pursue which is hotel management. One of the activities that the class organized, in which I was honored to be invited, made me realized that these students are great team players and very creative. Although I only stayed in the event for a short period, the fun and enjoyment that I saw in everyone’s face is testament that the objectives of the organizers were met.”라는 소감을 남겨주셨습니다.
