My warmest greetings to all the students and faculty member here

 at the College of Culture and Tourism of Jeonju University.

I am Nimrod Carpio a foreign faculty from the Philippines.

I joined the Hotel Department as one of the faculty members.

I am happy that I am one of the professors at this university. Being a Filipino educator, I am very excited

 to share my knowledge, skills, and experience with my present and future students. Not to mention

my culture and traditions that will give my students the eagerness to learn.

I have been teaching for more than ten years in the field of hospitality management. From those years this is the

first time that I will share my knowledge with a full foreign class and this makes me excited every day.

Back in the Philippines, we welcome Korean tourists as part of our society as your nation contributes to our economy. When I arrived here in Jeonju last March 1 and spent the next days, I felt home. The community, students,

professors, and administrators, treated me as part of the team, as part of the family. I hope the feeling will remain.

Again, I am very happy to join each of your journey for this semester and for the upcoming school years.

이곳 전주대학교 문화관광대학에 있는 모든 학생들과 교수님들에게 따뜻한 인사말씀 드립니다.

저는 필리핀에서 온 외국인 교수 Nimrod Carpio로 호텔경영학과의 교직원으로 입사했습니다.

저는 제가 전주대학교의 교수들 중 한 사람이라는 것이 기쁘고 필리핀 교육자로써 저의 지식과 기술, 경험을 현재와 미래의

 학생들과 함께 나눌 수 있게되어 매우 기쁩니다. 저는 학생들에게 배우고자 하는 열망을 줄것이고,

저의 문화와 전통 또한 알려줄 것 입니다.

저는 환대산업 분야에서 10년 넘게 교편을 잡고 있습니다. 그 이래에 처음으로 외국에서 수업을 하며 

 지식을 공유하고 있는데 매일매일이 흥미롭습니다.

나중에 필리핀으로 돌아갔을 때, 저는 한국이 필리핀의 경제 분야에 기여했기 때문에 우리 사회의 일부로

한국인 관광객들을 환영할 것 입니다. 3월 1일 여기 처음 전주에 도착 해서 다음 날 까지 보냈을 때 저는 마치 집에 있는듯한

느낌을 받았습니다. 사회, 학생, 교수, 관리인분들은 저를 가족의 일원으로 생각해 주었고,

 앞으로도 그 감정이 계속해서 남아있기를 바랍니다.

다시 한 번, 이번 학기와 다가올 학기에 학생들과 함께 하게 되어 매우 기쁩니다. 감사합니다
